Harley-Davidson Egypt, a division of SMG Engineering Automotive Company which has over 40 years of accumulated experience in the automotive support and distribution business. The reputation of SMG in the domestic market, strongly contributed to its business success and ability to be selected as the partner of choice by many famous automotive parts and vehicle manufacturers. Presently, the company imports and distributes a wide range of automotive parts from over 80 world renown manufacturers.

The year 1982 heralded SMG's entry in the vehicles through the cooperation with Mercedes-Benz that developed by 1989 into a full fledged Mercedes distributorship. The success story with Mercedes-Benz was soon to be followed by a business cooperation agreement with SEAT in 1993. Later in 1996, SMG signed to become the exclusive importer/distributor for PORSCHE AG. Further, cooperation agreement on exclusive basis was concluded in 2001 with the famous producer of heavy duty commercial vehicles and buses SCANIA .Adding to the family of companies SMG represents the legendary Harley-Davidson arrived to Egypt and opened the doors of it's exclusive showroom and service center to the public in July 2000.
